Note: This theme uses featured images set in your posts to display on the front page. Thus, your three most recent blog posts must have featured images set. If you are moving from a different theme and find that the images are not resizing correctly to the front page, run the regenerate thumbnails plugin.
Under the slider, you can add a featured blog post section. This is the New on the Blog section in the demo. You can also leave this out if desired. To set it up, follow the below instructions.
1. Navigate to Appearance-Widgets.
2. Click on the Genesis- Featured Posts widget and choose Homepage Featured Posts, or drag and drop the widget into the Homepage Featured Posts widget area.
3. Fill in the options as shown in the image below then click the Save button.
The Featured Posts section should now be visible on your blog’s front page.
